0 Word Burst

Game Description: The Original Word Burst is a fast-paced game that tests your vocabulary! When the timer says 'GO' start making words by clicking on the letters. Letters do not have to be side-by-side. Click on the 'Burst' button to submit the word. Plurals and inflections are permitted. No proper names are accepted. Remember, you cannot use the same word twice! Accepted words earn points and add time to the clock. The game ends when you run out of time! Good luck!

How to Play Word Burst:

• When the timer says 'GO' start making words by clicking on the letters.
• Letters do not have to be side-by-side.
• Click on the 'Burst' button to submit the word.
• Plurals and inflections are permitted.
• Accepted words earn points and add time to the clock. (The clock is the vertical tube on the right with the red liquid that drains from top to bottom).
• Longer words are worth more points, and add even more time, so make your words as long as possible!
• When you have earned enough points, the 'Shuffle' button will light up.
• If you get stuck and cannot form a word, you can click on the 'Shuffle' button when it is lit up to get new letters.
• Deselect letters one at a time by clicking on them again in reverse order, or click the 'Clear' button to deselect all the letters.
• The letters Q, X, and Z are worth the most points!
• Gold bubbles score double points!
• Chromo bubbles (the bubbles with a rotating clock) earn time and a half.
• Temp bubbles disappear after a time.
• The game ends when you run out of time!
